4 Questions to Kickstart Leadership Development in Your Organization 

Organizations know the importance of developing their leaders, but fail to do so because of 
not enough time, money or both. But leadership development doesn’t need to be a formal 
structured program to be impactful. In this training, we will look at how you can organically 
kickstart leadership development for you and your organization with 4 questions focused 
on leading yourself first. 
We’ll combine the concepts of microlearning and peer-to-peer sharing to create space for 
leaders to develop their skills.  The 4 questions offer fresh takes a leadership development 
topics and include activities and follow-up action items. While ideally completed as a 
leadership team, the Q & A learning format can also be completed individually and then 
shared with an accountability partner.  This training eliminates the excuses why you don’t 
have ongoing leadership development in your organization. 
Training goals: 
• Recognize the importance of knowing who you are as a leader is an important step 
in leadership development. 
• Understand microlearning and peer-to-peer sharing as it relates to leadership 
development. 
• Be able to use four human-centric questions to facilitate leadership development 
for you and your organization. 
• Use your role in HR to encourage leadership development opportunities in your 
organization. 
Christine Johnson Bio: 
With over twenty years’ experience in HR and organization development, Christine Johnson 
is a skilled facilitator who is passionate about helping organizations create environments to 
share knowledge, align teams, and develop leaders.  She holds a Master’s in Organizational 
Leadership with a concentration change leadership from Gonzaga University and holds her 
SHRM-SCP and SPHR certifications.  She is also a Certified Working Genius Facilitator. In 
addition to her training and speaking work, Christine serves as the Strategic Projects 
Specialist for her family-owned business. Christine was a member of Stateline SHRM for 
nearly 10 years where she held numerous board roles including President. She is a current 
member of HRA Oak Brook and 100 Women Who Care DuPage County.   She is an 
enthusiastic pickleball player, aspiring writer, enjoys attending live music and theater 
events, and is passionate about ongoing learning.
