This program is valid for 1.0 PDC toward SHRM-CP and SHRM-SCP recertification.

This program has been approved for 1.0 HR (General) recertification credit hours toward aPHR™, aPHRi™, PHR®, PHRca®, SPHR®, GPHR®, PHRi™ and SPHRi™ recertification through HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®).

PRE-EVENT ACTIVITIES

Log in at 6:00pm (i.e., 30 minutes prior to event start) using the same event Zoom link obtained in step #2 above to participate in one of the following pre-event activities, open to all members...

* Member Orientation (acclimating new and existing members to the history and benefits of the HRHotSeat community)

* Job Transition Circle (offering expert guidance and advice to members currently in, or anticipating, job transition)

* Diversity & Inclusion Circle (fostering vital dialogue related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging)

WHAT TO EXPECT

[optional] 6:00 - 6:30pm -- pre-event activities (mentioned above), using same link as main event

NOTE: Attendees NOT participating in pre-event activities may wait until 6:30pm to connect via Zoom.

6:30 - 8:00pm

announcements + introductions

• The facilitator will introduce all attendees to the recent news and current sponsors of the HRHotSeat Chicago inclusive mastermind community.

hot seat discussion breakouts

• Attendees will divide into groups to tackle real-life, HR-related challenges that members currently face in their workplace or job search. Each group will brainstorm ideas, resources, and connections to help solve the presented challenges.

wrap-up + networking

• The facilitator will provide closing thoughts and encourage additional connecting before the event concludes.

Refer to the cancelation instructions included in your initial confirmation email or follow the steps below ASAP if you become unable to attend the upcoming event...

1. Proceed to the event detail page and click on Register.

2. Click on Modify an Existing Registration.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the following page, select the More Actions dropdown, and select Cancel This Registrant.

NOTE: For the time being, it may be very unclear to you whether your event cancelation actually went through. I'm working on that.  :)
