Not a day goes by without several incidents of workplace violence being reported. Employee on Employee, domestics incidents, bullying, the list goes on.

Like all issues, prevention is the best plan but how do you handle it if prevention doesn’t work?  This session is moderated by a retired police detective who will provide you with information to start your research and planning to help you start you action plans.

A bit about John:

John Vaughn’s teaching experience started as a police officer and firefighter. He has taught at the Illinois Police Training Academy and the Illinois Fire Service Institute as well as several college “business outreach” entities.  After retirement from the police department, he became a “qualified” OSHA trainer with credentials for both General Industry and Construction with a specialty in Department of Transportation regulations. John is also a Certified Fire Trainer and a Fire Inspector through the Illinois Office of State Fire Marshalls Office.

John’s classes are not a typical learning program.  His extensive background in regulatory issues keeps the attendees focused on compliance. He includes in a few real-world experiences and the regulations start making sense and the attendees leave with information they understand and can apply.
