Summary of Presentation:

Let’s face it – change is not easy.  Leaders often wonder why change initiatives in their organizations take longer than expected, involve more drama, or simply fail.  In this presentation, we will take a closer look at factors that impact organizational change and help leaders build a change toolkit to more effectively navigate change on teams or in organizations.  During the process, we will also take time to reflect on how our own experience with change may help or hinder our ability to lead others during change.

Presentation Goals:

• Recognize factors that impact our readiness for change.
• Understand the importance of communication throughout the change process especially in overcoming resistance to change.
• Begin building a change management toolkit that creates shared language and understanding.
