 Speaker Bio: 

Kassie Olea has built a career in insurance and employee benefits from the ground up—starting at just 18 years old in in-home life insurance. Her journey has taken her through worksite benefits, enrollment firm consulting, and leadership roles at both regional and mid-market brokerages chasing her dream of landing at one of the worlds most prestigious firms. Today, she proudly serves at Lockton—her long-time goal—advising middle market and larger clients on innovative benefits and workforce risk strategies.

Kassie brings a unique, real-world perspective shaped by deep industry experience, a people-first mindset, and a passion for aligning HR and financial strategy. She also serves on the board of the Associated Colleges of Illinois (ACI), is Marketing Chair for Stateline SHRM, and is the Past President and current Marketing Chair of Women Empowering Women McHenry County. She's also a proud alum of Leadership Greater McHenry County (LGMC) and a soccer coach for Huntley Park District.

Outside of her professional work, Kassie runs a single-parent household with her two amazing daughters, Gwendolyn and Penelope, and their beloved mini cocker-poodle, Chanel. Whether she’s coaching soccer, swimming, fishing, or chasing new adventures with her girls, she brings the same energy and heart to her personal life as she does to every client and community she serves. Kassie often describes it as a constant and joyful rush- racing to the work she loves, then racing back home to the life and family she loves and adores.
